Performance

Despite its larger stature, the Kia Telluride is surprisingly satisfying to drive. It has stable handling, accurate steering, and ample power under the hood. Its 3.8-liter V-6 spins front wheels with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, with gear changes handled by a responsive 8-speed automatic transmission. For improved handling in inclement conditions, the Telluride offers all-wheel drive across the lineup.

The 2023 Kia Telluride features an optional self-level rear suspension to optimize ride comfort while on the move. The 2023 Kia Telluride offers eight inches of ground clearance for off-road adventure and increased approach and departure angles for traversing rocky terrain.

The Kia Telluride's cabin is classy and comfortable, with modern styling, quality materials, and intuitive controls. It comes standard with seating for eight, but if you don't require the additional seatbelt, you can open up the interior even more with a seven-seat configuration and second-row captain's chairs. Behind the rear seats, you'll have 21 cubic feet for your groceries, luggage, or gear, with a little more storage available in the hidden underfloor compartment. Folding the third row expands the cargo area to 46 cubic feet. And with all rear seats folded, capacity measures 87 cubic feet.

The 2023 Telluride offers many comfort and convenience enhancements, including standard amenities like Smart Key proximity entry, tri-zone automatic climate control, SynTex leatherette upholstery, and a Driver Talk cabin intercom system. You can add even more amenities by moving up the trim levels, like leather upholstery, heated and cooled first and second-row seats, second-row sunshades, and dual sunroofs.

For 2023, Telluride upgrades its infotainment system with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide intuitive smartphone integration for seamless access to helpful features like hands-free communications, Google or Apple Maps, streaming media, and more. The Kia Connect app gives you remote access via your phone to start/stop the engine, lock/unlock the doors, and even pre-climatize the cabin so that it's the perfect temperature for your trip.
